Web Proxy Page

The question: What is a web proxy page?

The answer: A web proxy page is a page in a web proxy website. Actually the web proxy page is the most valuable page in a proxy website because this is what the whole website was built for in the first place. It contains the input form that the visitor uses to write down the url he wants to browse. This is our web proxy page

The other elements this page contains are completely up to the website maker and we will describe some of them here.

Lets start from the top. Upstairs we can find the header of the page which usually is the same in all pages of the web broxy website. The name of the website should be there and an eye catching image to attract the visitors. There could be some ads here too but again that's up to the creator.

Next we have the sidebar or sidebars if it is a three column web proxy page . Generally on the sidebar we put the main menu which helps the visitor to navigate easily to the varius webpages of the site. As this menu is on every page of the proxy website it has to give clear directions for navigation at least to the web proxy page. In the sidebar we can also find some advertisements and links to other websites similaror not.

The main body of the proxy page can have a welcome message and a description of what this website does or offers. Ads can be placed here too but the main thing is the input form we talked about previously .

The last part of the web proxy page is the footer where one sees copyright information and probably a sitemap or anything the designer things appropriate.
